They have a focus problem. \n\n\n\nWith limited time\, a small team\, and a modest budget\, it’s easy to try a bit of everything and end up with nothing that sticks. The result is a familiar cycle: bursts of activity when things are quiet\, followed by silence when you’re busy. \n\n\n\nNorbert Sari\, founder of Rodeo13\, is a marketing partner to startups and scale-ups across the research industry. \n\n\n\nHis online masterclass will include five mini modules to sharpen positioning\, generate quick wins\, and build daily marketing habits that stick. \n\n\n\nModule 1: Laser-Focused Guerrilla PositioningMost research tech companies try to be relevant to everyone and end up resonating with no one. This module shows how to narrow your positioning to a precise niche\, articulate your differentiated value clearly\, and build a message that cuts through. \n\n\n\nModule 2: Website FaceliftYour website is your hardest-working sales asset. This module covers the quick\, high-impact fixes that improve clarity for new visitors and align your site for both SEO and AI-powered search tools. \n\n\n\nModule 3: Daily 20-Minute MomentumThe feast-and-famine cycle is probably all too familiar to research agencies. This module is about building a simple\, sustainable daily habit that keeps you visible and active even during your busiest delivery periods. \n\n\n\nModule 4: Low-Effort Content EngineYou already have more content than you think. This module shows you how to systematically repurpose what you’ve already created in decks\, proposals\, client conversations and reports into a steady stream of useful\, shareable content. \n\n\n\nModule 5: Lobby Hustle – Event and LinkedIn StrategyConferences and LinkedIn can be two of the highest-ROI channels for research tech businesses. This module gives you a practical playbook for both: how to show up at industry events to build pipeline\, and how to use LinkedIn as a low-cost\, high-leverage visibility engine between events. \n\n\n\nKey Learning Outcomes\n\n\n\nBy the end of this session\, you will be able to: \n\n\n\n\nNarrow down your unique value proposition and differentiator that makes you the obvious choice for a specific audience\n\n\n\nIdentify and action the highest-priority fixes on your website for clearer messaging and improved discoverability\n\n\n\nBuild and sustain a daily marketing routine that prevents visibility gaps during busy periods\n\n\n\nCreate a simple content repurposing workflow to maintain a consistent publishing cadence without starting from scratch\n\n\n\nArrive at conferences with a clear engagement strategy and leave with qualified connections — not just a stack of business cards\n\n\n\nUse LinkedIn more deliberately as a pipeline and brand-building tool\n\n\n\n\nWho Should Attend\n\n\n\nThis session is designed for founders\, CEOs\, marketing leads\, and growth managers at research tech businesses\, particularly those at the early-to-mid growth stage where marketing resource is limited but commercial ambition is high. If you’re doing most of your marketing yourself\, wearing multiple hats\, or trying to build a function from scratch\, this session is built for you. \n\n\n\nLearn More About Rodeo13\n\n\nRodeo13We partner with market research agencies\, platforms\, and tech solutions to create impact\, combining deep industry DNA with high-level creative strategy. They must choose between the depth of qualitative research and the speed and scale of quantitative studies. Relying on multiple vendors to uncover the “who” and “why” behind the data often costs unnecessary time and money. \n\n\n\nWhat does this mean for researchers when the need for intelligent insights is so urgent? A standard flat-text survey won’t suffice. It fails to capture the nuance\, honesty and environmental context of today’s respondents. \n\n\n\nJoin experts from Cint and whyser.ai for a transparent discussion on the mechanics\, impact and participant perceptions of AI-Moderated Interviews (AIMIs). In this panel discussion\, we’ll explore findings from a Cint survey on how respondents perceive AIMIs. \n\n\n\nYou’ll learn:\n\n\n\n\nBridging the Divide: How to capture the depth of mixed-model responses (video\, audio\, and text) at the speed and scale of traditional quantitative methodologies.\n\n\n\nThe Psychology of Honesty: Understanding why respondents often feel more comfortable sharing vulnerable\, unbiased truths with an AI moderator than a human interviewer.\n\n\n\nAdaptive Research Environments: How a “mixed-model” approach automatically shifts between text\, audio\, and video based on the participant’s environment to prevent study drop-offs.\n\n\n\nPrecision Supply at Scale: Strategies for leveraging hundreds of profiling points to reliably target and secure the niche\, multimedia-ready audiences required for complex studies.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSpeakers\n\n\nSergio PerdicesSergio Perdices  is the founder of Whyser\, an AI research platform that turns conversations into actionable customer and market insights.FIND OUT MORE Sergio PerdicesBruno PatriotaBruno Patriota\, Senior Product Manager for Cint Exchange\, is focused on where AI meets research\, improving quality and respondent experience.FIND OUT MORE Bruno Patriota\n\n\nLearn More About Cint\n\n\nCintCint provides research and measurement technology with a network of 800+ suppliers representing millions of respondents in 130+ countries.FIND OUT MORE Cint

We moved from proprietary panels to marketplaces\, from desktop to mobile\, from manual validation to digital fingerprinting and now from human-generated responses to AI-assisted participation. \n\n\n\nYet despite all this change\, today’s biggest question is still similar to the one researchers faced 20 years ago: How do we know we can trust the data? \n\n\n\nIn this fireside chat\, industry veteran Kurt Knapton joins Rep Data’s Steven Snell for a candid discussion about the evolution of online sample and what it can teach researchers about the challenges they face today. Drawing on experiences spanning the rise of online panels\, the emergence of programmatic sampling\, the explosion of fraud and the arrival of AI\, they will explore how the industry’s definition of quality has changed and what principles have remained remarkably consistent. \n\n\n\nAttendees will leave with a deeper understanding of why today’s quality challenges did not begin with AI\, what lessons from the panel era still matter and how organizations can build more confidence in the data that drives critical business decisions. \n\n\n\nAI is forcing researchers to ask fundamental questions about authenticity\, trust and data provenance. While the technologies are new\, the underlying quality challenges are not. Understanding how the industry arrived at this moment can help researchers make better decisions about where quality is headed next. \n\n\n\nKey takeaways: \n\n\n\n\nWhy many of today’s fraud and authenticity challenges have roots that predate AI.\n\n\n\nWhat researchers gained and lost as the industry moved from panel ownership to programmatic sampling.\n\n\n\nPractical guidance for evaluating data quality in an increasingly automated research ecosystem.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSpeakers\n\n\nKurt KnaptonKurt Knapton serves on the board of directors at Rep Data and is an investor and strategic advisor at Realm Resources.FIND OUT MORE Kurt KnaptonSteven SnellSteven Snell advises on survey programs for brand\, product\, employee\, customer and marketing research for Rep Data.FIND OUT MORE Steven Snell\n\n\nLearn More About Rep Data\n\n\nRep DataRep Data offers data quality\, fraud prevention\, global sample and agile research technology for modern insights teams.FIND OUT MORE Rep Data

How to use AI in market research well\, and why adding it to old processes only speeds up what’s already broken.\n\n\n\nThe organisation is the bottleneck. It rarely tells you why\, and the why is where pricing strategy lives. Behind every acceptable\, expensive or too-cheap price point sits a judgement about value\, and when that reasoning stays hidden\, pricing decisions are made on thresholds alone. \n\n\n\nIn this session Charlotte Morelli shows how Conveo clients now pair price sensitivity questions with AI-moderated probing\, so every respondent explains the thinking behind their answer in their own words\, at the scale of a quantitative study. \n\n\n\nUsing real examples\, she walks through how those explanations reshape packaging\, positioning and value communication\, and how research teams can start adding this layer to their own pricing work. \n\n\n\nKey Takeaways: \n\n\n\n\nWhy price sensitivity data alone shows you where the thresholds are but not what drives them\, and how a single well-timed follow-up question changes what you can act on.\n\n\n\nHow to design price sensitivity questions with AI-moderated probing so every respondent explains their answer\, without adding weeks or a separate qualitative phase.\n\n\n\nHow to turn those explanations into pricing decisions across packaging\, positioning and value communication\, with examples of what clients changed as a result.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSpeakers\n\n\nCharlotte MorelliCharlotte Morelli\, Research Impact Lead at Conveo\, blends quantitative rigour and qualitative depth across custom insights research.FIND OUT MORE Charlotte Morelli\n\n\nLearn More About Conveo\n\n\nConveoConveo’s AI designs expert studies\, interviews real people\, and analyzes every signal: voice\, video\, tone\, behavior\, and objects.FIND OUT MORE Conveo

Rapport\, neutrality and careful\, non-leading phrasing all exist because the interviewer is human\, and because the person answering reads the face\, the tone and everything left unsaid. AI-moderated interviews quietly remove that constraint. An AI moderator is unoffendable and endlessly consistent\, and it can hold a persona no human interviewer could sustain. Or would ever be allowed to attempt. \n\n\n\nThat opens up styles of questioning that were simply not available before. This session tests the most interesting of them: deliberately making the interviewer provocative and argumentative. So\, it pushes back. Challenges what people claim\, and even imposes an assumption on them to provoke a correction. When someone is nudged into defending what they believe\, they tend to tell you far more\, and far more honestly\, than when they are asked politely and neutrally. \n\n\n\nTim Treagus runs the same interview through three deliberately engineered personas\, a neutral moderator\, a warm and encouraging one\, and a provocative one that argues back\, across several markets. The session shows what each persona pulls out of people\, where provocation earns better data\, where it backfires\, and how to build these personas into your own prompts. With the guardrails that keep challenge constructive\, rather than hostile. \n\n\n\nThis is not a tool demo. It is a more technical and psychological way of thinking about how we ask questions once the interviewer is no longer human. \n\n\n\nKey Takeaways: \n\n\n\n\nTreat interviewer persona as a design decision. Right now most AI interviews inherit whatever default tone the model happens to have. You will leave able to choose that tone on purpose\, and match it to your research objective.\n\n\n\nPrompt patterns for an interviewer that pushes back. Concrete\, reusable ways to make an AI moderator challenge a claim\, surface a contradiction\, or float an assumption for the person to correct.\n\n\n\nA read on what persona actually changes. How warmth and provocation move depth\, candor and the gap between what people say and what they do\, so you can predict the trade-off before you field.\n\n\n\nWhen to provoke and when not to. Provocation carries a drop-off and rapport risk. You will get a clear sense of the topics and moments where it pays\, and where a neutral or warm persona serves you better.\n\n\n\nGuardrails and ethics. How to keep a challenging interviewer constructive\, protect participants\, and stay on the right side of the line. Before you put this in front of real people.\n\n\n\nA wider point about what is now askable. Questions and question styles that were never possible\, or permissible human to human\, are now on the table. And that is worth designing for deliberately.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSpeakers\n\n\nTim TreagusTim Treagus is the co-founder and CEO of Yazi\, interested in the questions AI interviewing makes possible that were never possible before.FIND OUT MORE Tim Treagus

But in qualitative research\, the real challenge can also be maintaining depth and rigour over time. Drawing on a recent longitudinal community project featuring 16\,000 participant posts\, conducted in partnership with Sparkminds Insights\, this session explores how to use AI to support high-volume qualitative research. \n\n\n\nWe will look at how AI stepped in to do the heavy lifting: reading responses\, acknowledging participants instantly\, and actively moderating and probing to extract deeper insights. To put that into perspective\, reviewing those 16\,000 posts is something that would have taken a human moderator 11 weeks\, if that was all they were doing for every working hour over those 11 weeks. \n\n\n\nBut making this work meant realising AI isn’t a magic button. It is not a ‘set and forget’ tool that you can just leave to ‘crack on’ unsupervised. We will share what it really takes to work hand-in-hand with the tech\, from the initial ‘test and learn’ phase (including what can happen when you leave an AI to its own devices) to figuring out the ideal division of labour. Because while AI can execute the hard work of moderating thousands of posts\, ultimately\, the AI is only as good as those instructing it. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMike StevensMike Stevens is the founder of Insight Platforms. Run it on the wrong one and you trade research quality for speed. Knowing which is which\, and being able to defend that call to stakeholders\, is where most teams get stuck. \n\n\n\nIn this practical session\, Laura Pulito\, Vice President of Research at Recollective\, walks through how to make that decision and what to weigh before running an AI-moderated interview. She covers how to judge when AI moderation adds clear value\, when human moderation is the stronger fit and how the researcher’s role changes when AI handles the active probing. \n\n\n\nLaura will also share how to keep research quality high when AI is doing the interviewing: writing objectives that produce the conversation you intended\, setting guardrails your stakeholders can stand behind\, testing a design before launch and reading the outputs closely enough to reach real insight. It’s built for researchers who want to adopt AI on their own terms\, keeping human judgment and curiosity central to the work. \n\n\n\nWhat you will learn: \n\n\n\n\nDecide with confidence when AI-moderated interviews will strengthen a study and when a human moderator is the better call.\n\n\n\nMove from automated summaries to genuine insight your team can act on.\n\n\n\nGet to the “why” behind an answer with far more participants than you could interview live.\n\n\n\nProtect research quality with clear objectives and guardrails that hold up to stakeholder and governance scrutiny.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSpeaker\n\n\nLaura PulitoLaura is VP Research Services with Recollective\, and has more than a decade’s online research experience on both the client and supplier side. It is a relationship. And like every relationship in nature\, sustainability requires a negotiation of mutual value. \n\n\n\nThis presentation uses a forest ecosystem as a framework for diagnosing what is happening to our industry. Client budgets are the sun. Procurement is the atmosphere\, refracting light before it reaches the canopy. Participants are the water\, increasingly contaminated by fraud and incentive pressure. Accumulated research is the soil (when recycled\, a potentially a rich source of life). And AI is the mycelium: a vast networked intelligence\, already threading through our root systems\, capable of feeding the forest or consuming it from below.  We draw on different examples of how the relationship can be symbiotic or parasitic – arguing that we need to put our energies into making it mutually beneficial. \n\n\n\nIt draws on case studies from Feeling Mutual’s own practice. Re-analysing past qualitative data against new briefs using Coloop for PureGym. Building a strategic thinking partner and digital twins in Claude\, trained on primary research for Amazon Books. Using AI to help make sense of complex multi-billion dollar overseas investment strategy for Diriyah Company – which augment AI analysis of 80 international investor depth interviews. \n\n\n\nIt closes with six recommendations for how qualitative researchers can move from seeing AI as an apex predator\, competing for scarce budgets\, and instead positively adapt towards symbiosis. Resisting parasitic drift\, feeding the soil deliberately\, cultivating the niches platforms cannot reach. And taking responsibility for whether the spores of insights actually germinate. \n\n\n\nThis is not a talk about whether AI is good or bad for research. It is a map of the ecosystem we are now living in. And a practical argument for how to not just survive\, but to thrive. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSpeakers\n\n\nTom WoodnuttTom is the founder of insight & strategy collective Feeling Mutual. As AI-assisted moderation matures and participants spend their lives inside messaging apps. A new question emerges: should qualitative research meet people where they already are? \n\n\n\nThis session shares a candid\, methodology-first account of a 6-day\, 58-participant co-creation study run inside WhatsApp. Revealing both the genuine gains and the emerging challenges that come with moving qual research into everyday chat. \n\n\n\nKey Takeaways: \n\n\n\n\nDiscover the conditions under which messaging-native fieldwork improves authenticity and participation over legacy platforms\, and the limits of that advantage.\n\n\n\nWhere AI moderation genuinely helped keep a fast-moving\, multimedia community on track\, and where it missed context\, over-triggered\, or needed human intervention.\n\n\n\nGain a forward-looking framework for evaluating whether your next qualitative study belongs on a dedicated platform\, or within a channel your participants already trust.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSpeakers\n\n\nEnric CidEnric Cid is a product strategist and business builder with over 20 years of experience in the market research industryFIND OUT MORE Enric CidMelissa ShortMelissa Short is a qualitative research and product management expert with experience spanning research\, marketing\, and sales.FIND OUT MORE Melissa Short
