Insights for Impact Award: Oct 2025

Are you a researcher who wants to create positive impact with your research?

Do you work for a charity or NGO with limited budget for research?

The Insights for Impact Award is for research in support of a good cause.

You provide the research expertise and we’ll give you the tools and some budget to make it happen. You’ll also get the chance to showcase your work to a global audience of your peers.

What is the Insights for Impact Award?

Research has the power to change lives. It can humanise complex issues, give voice to the unheard and shine a light on hidden behaviours.

For charities and non-profit organisations, research is vital for understanding the people they support, making more informed decisions and gauging the impact of their work.

The Insights for Impact Award will help a charity or non-profit organisation to complete a research project with free technology, project support and a financial contribution.

This year there are two entry categories:

  • The Qualitative Insights for Impact Award supported by Recollective
  • The Quantitative Insights for Impact Award, supported by Sago

How does it work?

Any researcher can submit a video entry to conduct either an online qualitative or quantitative research project for a charity or non-profit organisation.

The winning entry will receive free software and support from Recollective (qualitative) or Sago (quantitative) and a budget contribution for recruitment and incentives.

After completing the project, you will be able to present it as a case study in a webinar hosted by Insight Platforms.

The best five video entries will be selected by an expert panel and screened to attendees at the Insights to Action Summit on Oct 21st-22nd 2025.

The final winner will be chosen in an open vote by summit attendees and announced in the closing session on Oct 22nd.
