Behavioural research brings together a range of techniques variously known as Behavioural Economics, Behavioural Science, Consumer Psychology, System 1 Insights and Implicit Research.
Behavioural research approaches are grounded in observation and question techniques that access sub-conscious needs, attitudes and biases to uncover deeper insights for brand building, marketing communications or product design.
The methods used include experiments, observational studies, biometric measurement and emotion analytics – as well as surveys and qualitative approaches that are designed to elicit implicit feedback.
