— Summary of role —
The Manager of Research Services is chiefly responsible for overseeing the execution and delivery of all Research Services supported by Voxpopme. This includes research design, report generation, showreel generation, and toplines for all three regions supported. Most of this work is to be supported internally by the MRS; however at times of capacity these services will be managed through strategic partners. The MRS will set the highest of benchmarks and company standards for Research Services and then manage to clients’ delight. The Manager of Research Services has experience with traditional market research deliverables across both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, comfortable in front of the customer, has experience or has demonstrated an ability to define and manage best in class services, capable of qualifying and managing outside partners, and function autonomously in an area of rapid growth. The key metrics the MRS is responsible for is customer satisfaction and project profitability.
— Definition of Duties and Responsibilities —
The MRS will own Voxpopme’’s flagship product “Showreels” when produced on behalf of customers. This may or may not always involve product but it does involve setting the standard for the deliverable.
On occasion the MRS will be responsible for advising the customer on best practices for achieving desired research objectives and instrument design.
The MRS will set the appropriate benchmarks and standards for Voxpopme’s Research Services deliverables and then implement quality controls for maintaining those standards internally and externally (through strat partners).
The MRS will work with the Global Project Director to define internal workflows and processes for managing resource allocation and Research Services deliverable execution. Assuring everything is operating to the highest of standards.
The MRS will manage all strategic partnerships supporting Research Services. This includes setting and maintaining quality standards, best practices, rules and processes for project allocation, timelines, and standard pricing.
The MRS will work with the Global Project Director to identify, qualify, and onboard new strategic partners to support the demands of the business.
The MRS will work with CRO and SVP, Customer Success to set industry competitive price points and product positioning all while maintaining the businesses profitability targets.
The MRS will work with CRO and SVP, Customer Success to create and maintain internal documentation and resources that support the Research Services offering.
The MRS will work with outside departments to train/educate where appropriate.
— Qualifications —
7+ years of experience conducting market research
Comfort with client-facing conversations, managing expectations, building client relationships, presenting findings and discussing business implications.
Strong understanding of qualitative research, survey methodology, and research design.
Strong ability to translate business questions into research questions.
Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong client service orientation.
Passion for exceeding customer expectations with a “whatever it takes” attitude when driving long-term value.
